This is the saddest display of dribble I’ve seen today: Kamala Harris owns a handgun. That’s disqualifying for a 2020 Democrat in my book.
Clearly Mr. Funt has some mental deficiencies.

Sooner or later, the Roman/authoritarian/fascist system will bite everyone in the jugular, especially its fervent believers. It would thus be perfectly in-line with their doctrine and history to excommunicate Harris, unless she recants.

She’s against “shall issue” for the serfs of course.

Not usually in “may issue” states. I think some time back in the 90s it was technically the law but it was regularly ignored by the police. The only people who had permits were rich, famous, politically well connected, or a judge.
The seekrit carry permit is pure speculation on my part. But she dropped the fact that she owned a gun for no real public reason, so I’m guessing she’s cutting up her hypocrisy into tiny bits and disclosing them early.

Harris, a former prosecutor, knows which side in the gun rights debate is telling the truth, and demonstrates that knowledge through her own actions.
She should be a poster girl for the right to bear arms, with a tagline on each poster reading, “Even Democrats recognize the truth: Self defense is an individual, inherent, inalienable right, and carrying firearms is an exercise of that right that shall not be infringed.”

To people like this owning a gun disqualifies you from being alive. Which is the mindset of most progressives. Unless of course you use that gun to kill those who oppose The Party to then be killed by the brownshirts that are part of The Party.

Re public record: not necessarily in shall-issue states either. Take NH (now a Constitutional Carry state but earlier a Shall Issue state). The law specifically requires all carry permit information to be confidential. Apparently the state took that seriously enough they would not even disclose the total number of permit holders. I suspect the fact that the law made officials personally liable for violations might have been a factor.

Looks to me like she would be qualified to carry under LEOSA. She would have to qualify, of course, but you know how that goes for the brass. The question is do you have to be LE for ten years in the same place. DA, ADA, and AG qualify as LE as I understand the statute. She clearly has 10 years cumulative between Alameda County, SF and CA but might not have 10 years in any one place.
