The party of smaller government
Trump is looking at banning vape flavors. So, six people died from using black market vapes. And the response is to, essentially, create a larger black market. Stupid.
Oh, and record federal spending.

Hey it costs a lot of money to shrink gov…counter-intuitive ain’t it? But it’s true; think about it.
On the ban and/or regulation, like all the others you gotta skip past the talk and watch the walk. Took a while to understand the pot thing and get rid of that little troll of an AG Sessions too. Again, look at the actual record and stop going for the head-feints.

I’m a smoker. Of tobacco. For going on 50 years. I’ve smoked just about every kind of cigarette and cigar there is, as well as pipes, and even chewed molasses plug on occasion. I have no plans or inclination to quit.
I think that vaping is a horrible fraud being committed on young people. They’re making them think that inhaling vaporized antifreeze and drain cleaner laced with nicotine is like eating a mango.
Are vapes less “safe” than the burning weed I inhale? I don’t know. But I do know that I have fair warning. It smells, it burns, it burns my clothes, it makes a mess, it makes me cough, it makes me cough up brown stuff, it stains my teeth, it stains my fingers, …. I don’t think vapers have fair warning.

Yup; same old M.O. as for violent crime. Someone shoots up a school, and they look to punish the law-abiding. Ban guns for the law-abiding, and they’d create a government-enforced monopoly on guns for law breakers.
But don’t make the mistake of calling it stupid. The leftist agitators know very well how this works, and they want it. Trump has attended a Jesuit school himself, and so we must assume that he’s been inculcated with these doctrines, among them being the Dialectic Method and the notion of the exoteric verses the esoteric (what you say in public verses what you’re planning and doing in secret).

@Lyle, in the sense that the esoteric harbors delusions of internal deity while the exoteric depends on the heart to put it all out there for God and everybody to see and judge, I’ll lean to the Trump school.

This is being driven by Big Tobacco. Juul has even been running ads in major newspapers about wanting to crack down on vaping and raising the age to 21. (They’re 35% owned by Big Tobacco.)
