Enforcing the laws on the books
When it comes to guns, it looks like the DOJ has a plan to do just that.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

“NSSF Applauds DOJ’s Enforce and Prosecute Gun Laws”
my read:
“Coordinated prosecution”
– criminalizing honest mistakes on 4474’s
– double jeopardy, first by feds, then by states
– violation of 1A-protected activities
“Improved information sharing”
– “fusion centers” (maintain secret lists for no-buy)
“Mental health denials”
– violating medical privacy, and patient-doctor privilege
“Crime gun intelligence coordination”
– “National Integrated Ballistic Information Network (NIBIN) and Firearm Tracing”?
– hello, national gun registration
Yes, I know: Trump and Baar are to blame for suggesting the above. But, NSSF endorsed it! But, NSSF endorsed it!
Seems NSSF is only concerned about their shooting matches and ranges, and NOT the average 2A-supporter. With NSSF as friends, who need enemies?

I would think that the first responsibility of the DoJ is to enforce the Constitutional limits on government. Not enforcing existing Intolerable Acts. I don’t consider this a positive thing NSSF.
