The new Glock
Glock teased a big reveal a while back. Speculation is that it is a 22LR.
My sources say that is indeed correct and it is on a G19 frame. We’ll see.
Update: Yep

Glock really missed their chance to screw with people. The G22 is in .40 S&W and the G40 should have been in. 22LR.

They should make the Glock 57 in 5.7mm just to fuck with people.

Glock 22 = .40 cal
Glock 25 = .380 cal
Glock 32 = .357 sig
Glock 38 = .45 GAP
Glock 40 = 10mm
Glock 45 = 9mm
And now
Glock 44 = .22lr
They are 100% doing this shit on purpose

Caliber versus model number aside, this looks like more fun than a baby duck, and more useful for inexpensive range practice than a full grown G19. 15 years ago, I started with a G19 because 9mm was $3.50 for a box of 50 Blazer practice rounds, while .45ACP was about $7. “Real” ammo was costly. Today both calibers are ridiculously high priced, and 22LR for practice is looking better and better compared to 9mm.
Now all I have to do is calculate how many rounds of 22LR I have to shoot through one to amortize the price, compared to shooting my G19 in 9mm. That’s in case the wife asks why I have another 22 pistol.
