Small of back carry is dumb
And dangerous:
Tripp and his 36-year-old father were play-wrestling in their home in Bloomington on Jan. 19 when the man’s concealed handgun slipped from his back and went off, the sheriff’s office said.
His 4 year old son died. Awful.

Sounds to me like it was more of a “lack of holster” carry than it was SOB.

I call Bullshit. He either wasn’t using a holster or he tried to catch it.
Or there is more than we have been told.

Slipped out and “went off”?
Highly unlikely without some help.
Still, RIP to that baby and deepest condolences to the parents.

I have a general “no bodily contact with other people above my elbows while carrying” policy.
Best way to stay out of trouble is to not get in situations where trouble can evolve. The handgun is for when trouble comes looking for you anyway.
