Just rhetorically this is of value as Commerce controls the export of Dual-Use items. The ITAR control munitions up to rockets, nuclear industry items, etc. Firearms under the Munitions List should include anything under .50 cal. Prior to this only a couple shotguns were controlled by Commerce with the rest controlled by State.
And we saw how much effort State put into the cross-border traffic in firearms to Mexico that turned out to be the BATF gun-running operation

It’s a very big deal. Kinda like lifting the boot off the little guys neck in the gun industry.
