Some nice hardware, with all the specs laid out in detail…so that 60K listed retail is what, 40K real money?

And the safe, the focus of it all…nothing but the pretty is mentioned…metallic paint! Gold leaf! And leather! That’s because while American Security makes some good ones (my last new jeweler’s safe was an AS about a quarter of that size. And it features 1 1/2″ bolts all around, glass relocker, double combo keypad plus key. And a UL rating of TL30X6. But it cost me under 5K delivered, about a buck a pound is the standard. It’s now my gun safe and lives in the climate controlled section of my toy garage. So even if this cartoon model is TRTLX6 and four times the size, it might weigh 20K lbs so that’s about what it’s worth…20K bucks.

So we have 40K in guns in a 20K safe, or 60,000…and of course that assumes the custom crap on both is what you would choose with unlimited dough. So that whole movie connection thing must be really amazing to be worth the 40K premium.

Different strokes and all that, but I haven’t met too many rich gun guys who are that dumb, and I’ve met quite a few that make that collection look weak.

Those grapes way up there may look ripe, but they’re most likely quite sour.
