I have a Ruger 10/22 fitted (on an absolute whim walking the clearance aisles of a sporting good store) with a black rubber & metal Hogue folding stock. It is a pain to shoot, as it has no repeatable cheek weld position other than on the wire buttstock. So it is for plinking fun only. The banana mags make it an EBR, of sorts, that gets funny looks at the range.
Good to know I can now do something similar with a centerfire Ruger. Or not.

I love it when a plan comes together.

I pity Da Fool that spends a full day at the range shooting it.
Had to say it.
I’ve never found a Mini-14 folding stock of any design that was comfortable for me to shoot.

If Ruger would only make a Mini-14 that TOOK STANAG MAGS I’d really consider buying one.
(I have the same stock as mikee on my 10/22, and it’s … yeah, fun for plinking. Which is all I want from it.)
