One of the respondents to the guns.com article posed an excellent question. Didn’t the people in Virginia know what the Democrat program was?
First, a bit of background. What was once the sleepy countryside across the Potomac River from D.C. has become the most populous section of Virginia. The residents there are largely Federal employees, officials, bureaucrats, the community that serves them and by and large, aren’t even Virginians. These are the same
people who move to the country and then complain about the gunfire when people go hunting. They turn the countryside into the same kind of shithole they came from and then look down their noses at the people whose ancesters marched with General Washington. They are overeducated in the machinations of overlarge government, and get paid (by Us) big salaries to do things that need to be done only to serve themselves.
And, now, they run OUR state!

It is easy to get complacent, and some people actually believe in things like the Easter bunny, Santa Claus, and a pro gun democrat.
No offense to actual pro gun democrats. None of you are in leadership positions in your party, so the number is effectively zero
