Gun Questions for Sean Penn
Les has 10 Gun Questions for Sean Penn. Well, my questions would be:
1 – You live in California and have a concealed carry weapon permit. How’d you swing that? It’s notoriously hard to do. Oh, because you’re rich and famous. What about the average Joe who hasn’t bounced Madonna’s ass? SOL?
2 – So, you’re like a convicted, violent criminal, right? You know you’re not even supposed to, like, own a gun; but you do? And you carry one. Oh, you’re rich and above the law. I got ya.
3 – Why haven’t the New Orleans police confiscated your weapon? Oh, that rich thing again.

Is Sean Penn vocally pro-gun control?
If not, I see no reason to attack HIM for California’s gun-unfriendly laws.
( If he is, then disregard this entirely 🙂

If he’s for gun rights, fine with me. However, his special status due to celebrity is troubling.

IIRC, he has a domestic violence conviction, doesn’t he? That’s a Federal felony, isn’t it? Why isn’t the BATFE smashing in his door?

I’m pretty sure his conviction was for non-domestic violence, against a cameraman IIRC. He may have beat up Madonna, too, but that’s legal in California, which AFAIK is the only state to recognize the “bitch had it coming” defense.
