In an update to this, the AP:
A judge ruled Tuesday that a 16-year-old cancer patient who has refused conventional medical treatment does not have to report to a hospital as previously ordered and scheduled a trial to settle the dispute.

Doh! You already said that. What I get for commenting before First Coffee, I guess.
I think this case differs from the others where the kid is much younger and the parents are using prayer to heal their kid. This guy is old enough to call his own shots in the matter.

I wondered, did anyone ask the doctors “How will you like being known as the doctor who drugged this kid unconscious and forced chemotherapy drugs on him?”
