They’re NOT all created equal – I decided against the POF system almost a year back when we saw other serious functional problems with the POF rifles transferred through our store. Not saying that has anything to do with the Kaboom, as DI guns kaboom as well, however, the POF does lack the self-regulating piston return spring of the LWRC that forces the gas system closed again after each shot, ensuring that gas release is gradual, not explosive. My gut feeling, research aside, was that I didn’t like the idea of tacking an FAL gas system on top of an AR15.
