Countdown to Reasoned Discoursetm
Given the recent dominance of gun bloggers on the Examiner.com sites, it would probalby the last place I’d want to take an anti-gun stance.
And what a post it is:
Philadelphia Police officer John Pawlowski was not killed by Rasheed Scruggs — he was killed by the .357 pistol that Scruggs was using.

They were burning people as witches in the US in the late 1700’s? Really?
What kind of “award” did he win? A Razzie?

A comment so stupid it hurts!
What is it with these folks?

C’mon guys, give him a break. He didn’t even write the article.
His computer did.

So Scruggs was negligent for allowing his gun to shoot someone?

“C’mon guys, give him a break. He didn’t even write the article.

That’s funny.
There are a lot of words and ideas that show up in the comments on these anti-gun rights pieces, but they never get addressed by the anti-rights writers. One would think that leftists, communists, government massacres, police states, and even the very idea of gun rights don’t even exist in their tiny, leftist minds. Such ignorance!
Oh, and no witches were ever burned in America either – he’s wrong about that too. Reuters did report on May 21, 2008 that: “A mob has burned to death at least 11 people accused of witchcraft in an area of west Kenya…” It’s politically correct to falsely accuse America of imaginary crimes that never happened long ago, but it wouldn’t be politically correct to mention superstitious Africans burning suspected witches to death just last year.
And then there’s the hideous trade in albino body parts. Basically, they just run up to someone who’s an albino and hack off the parts they want. The people who are albino are not allowed guns with which to defend themselves. I suppose it would be racist to point out the similarity of those horrific mutilations to the chimp attacks that have cost at least two people their faces, so I’ll refrain from mentioning it.

Many years ago,Mallowe wrote an article for Philadelphia magazine about his house being burgled while he and his family was there, asleep.
One of the points he made was about wanting protection. A friend of the family who was a police officer got him a revolver and the requisite training.
For him to write an article like this is hypocrisy.
