For the Gun Blogger Rendezvous? Kinda bummed I can’t make it this year.

No, not here. But Spoons: I plan to keep the site up to maintain an internet presence, and to have an occasional bland post or personal update, but don’t expect to see any particularly no-holds-barred biting political commentary (as you haven’t really seen at all here this year). Bummer.

The major announcement and initiative to stop gun violence: Light a candle. Are they in their death throes? I dunno but this seems pretty weak. Positive thinking doesn’t change the world and neither does feel good symbolism.

Yeah, you guys got tired of the major announcement bit. But it seems to me that the media are doing the same thing with this whole Plame/Rove/Wilson/whatever mess. For like four days, the news has been nothing yet but it’s coming.
