A look at the numbers: Homicide/Accident/Suicide with firearm: 375,000 Automobile Collisions: 1,250,000 Umbrella mishap: 2,000,000

Today I learned: CEN reported that about 2 million people die worldwide in similar accidents involving umbrellas.

Umbrella confused for gun, everybody panic. This seems to happen regularly enough.

While it looks cool, it doesn’t strike me as a good idea to carry one around.
