This just gets weirder and weirder
Another look at the Marina Butina case?
Can we trust the FBI with anything?

So, a tranny activist wants to get their male junk shaved by women. Is this like the trans version of in your face open carry?
The future is stupid.
A Texas man is the first person to be charged under a federal ban on bump stocks, devices that allow a semi-automatic firearm to fire rapidly like a machine gun (sic), the Justice Department said Thursday.
Ajay Dhingra, 43, of Houston, came on the radar of the U.S. Secret Service in August after he sent an email to the George W. Bush Foundation asking the former president to send one of your boys to come and murder me, according to court records.
No practical purpose for me but this gizmo looks pretty neat.
Update: Hmm. Not sure how you could legally possess one. I doubt the thing has a serial number and, typically, serial numbers are on the receiver of the firearm and not the slide. Anyone?
The NRA is suing San Fran over it’s labeling them “domestic terrorist organization”. This should cost some money.

They’re not wrong.
The .gov wants Apple and Google to turn over the names of people who downloaded a gun scope app:
Its an unprecedented move: Never before has a case been disclosed in which American investigators demanded personal data of users of a single app from Apple and Google. And never has an order been made public where the feds have asked the Silicon Valley giants for info on so many thousands of people in one go.
According to an application for a court order filed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) on September 5, investigators want information on users of Obsidian 4, a tool used to control rifle scopes made by night-vision specialist American Technologies Network Corp. The app allows gun owners to get a live stream, take video and calibrate their gun scope from an Android or iPhone device. According to the Google Play page for Obsidian 4, it has more than 10,000 downloads. Apple doesnt provide download numbers, so its unclear how many iPhone owners could be swept up in this latest government data grab.
The app is easy enough to find.

No idea what is in the proposal.
Meghan McCain gets something right:
If you’re talking about going and taking people’s guns away from them, there’s going to be a lot of violence.
Indeed.
So, the democrat field had a yawner of climate change discussion last night. I, and almost everyone, did not watch it. But I did wait for the snarky day after highlights. It seems the democrat’s consistently want to Ban All The Things: Energy use, fracking, plastic straws, nuclear power, offshore drilling, fossil fuels, certain behaviors, diets, population growth for who are not white, coal plants, and carbon.
Yang wants to buy back cars and eliminate air travel.
Mayor Pete wants to ban air travel but only for you.
And, of course, guns.

I personally keep a few Life Straws around.
From the land of poop and needles: San Francisco Board of Supervisors designates NRA domestic terrorist organization.
Personally, the fact the government of San Fran thinks I’m a terrorist is a compliment.
On the other hand, this means that want me dead or imprisoned.
Wal-Mart is going to stop selling handgun ammunition and short barreled rifle ammunition (whatever that is). Also, they’re asking folks not to open carry in their stores.
You may remember the last time he offered his expertise on the topic, he advocated committing negligent homicide. Well, Old Joe is at it again:
The idea that we dont have elimination of assault type weapons, magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them, it’s absolutely mindless
Well, by definition, magazines hold multiple bullets you ignorant waste.
I considered selling my weapons back to the government, but after a background check and thorough investigation into the buyer, I determined the buyer has a history of violence and is mentally unstable. Big risk to everyone around it.

I have nothing to add.
Why you shoot until the threat has stopped.
The patience of that officer is immense. I’m thinking a lot of guys may have shot sooner.
For some blacks, mass shootings are a call to arms.
It should be a call to every one that the only way mass shootings end is when another gun shows up.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
