It’s OK. I like people who admit to their bias
Seat Belts and Appendix Carry.
I mentioned my issue with AIWB a bit back. Thankfully, I know people with more clue than me. Simply run the seat belt under the grip of the gun. Keeps you safe and allows for quick access.
An 8 year-old shot his mother because some dumbass left an unsecured gun in his vehicle.
Kamala Harris pledges to ban AR-15 imports by executive order if she becomes president.
That’s already been done.
The police confiscated what mostly appear to be kitchen knives. And a spoon.
Noted Firearms Expert Joe Biden correctly asserts that you are not entitled to a gun. Your socialist is showing.
I find this to be generally true:
in this day and age, leather is a sexual preference, not a valid holster material. Look, I get it. A custom made, tooled leather holster is classic. Its pure sexiness (see? Sexual preference.). Even for CCW use, its suboptimal, for a hundred different reasons that people in the training community (you know, people that actually practice this shit) have belabored. If youre still wearing a leather holster, thats fine, just acknowledge your fetish.
Not the part about it being a fetish, though.

Trump’s Justice Department is asking SCOTUS to strike down NY gun law.
Two things from Trump in a week? Wow.
J. KB isn’t too happy with a popular video of Halle Berry getting her training on. I think the video is, generally, good for gun folks. It shows “our people” in a good light. And it’s getting spread around by outlets that would otherwise not portray shooting sports as a good thing.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the firearms industry trade association, celebrates President Donald Trumps signing of H.R. 1222, the Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act, at The White House. The President signed the NSSF-priority bill May 10, just two weeks after the bill was passed by Congress.
We deeply appreciate President Trumps swift enactment of this legislation that will give state fish and game agencies greater flexibility to build new recreational shooting ranges and expand and improve existing ranges, said Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel. This administration understands the value and investment the firearms and ammunition industry makes to safe recreational shooting and to sustained conservation to benefit wildlife and habitat restoration across the United States. Public shooting ranges provide hunters a place to sight in rifles and pattern shotguns before hunting seasons, for people to take firearm safety and hunter education courses and for recreational target shooters to enjoy their sport.
And I’m not certain what to think about all of it. But I’m with Sebastian in that I will still support NRA. Infighting about the one true Scotsman doesn’t help us. Hang together and all that.
What others are saying:
Allen West comes out against the NRA’s current leadership.
NRA accused of not disclosing lobbying fees.
LaPierre’s excesses discussed here and here.
People who don’t like the NRA still don’t like the NRA, surprising no one.
Summer sports are wrapping up. Dealing with a technical issue. Irregular content to resume at some point.
BattleSwarmBlog has a fairly detailed review of the issues. An audit would be useful.
But kudzu is edible. Seems like someone should get on that. It grows everywhere.
Pretty cool: Drones used missiles with knife warhead to take out single terrorist targets

Zev OZ-9. Got a case of the wantsies for that. But I’ve got too much in the M&P collection to swap.
You can buy a sort of flashbang grenade on the internet. You gotta get those decibels up. Those are rookie decibels.

Yeah, it’s from 2014 but I don’t recall seeing it.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
