Students suspended in NJ for posting pictures of guns on social media with the caption “fund day at the range”
We should really bring back tar and feathers.

On Wednesday, acting FBI deputy director David Bowdich testified during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing that former President Barack Obama’s Department of Justice forced the FBI to delete over 500,000 fugitives, who had outstanding arrest warrants, from the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).
Fugitives from justice are prohibited persons.
Using guns for security in a school will get people killed. In this case, a would be mass shooter was killed.
The Brady Campaign to Cling to Relevancy is propping up some poor family for disappointment and, maybe, financial ruin with a frivolous lawsuit.
The last time they did this, it ended badly for the family in question.
Adam Weinstein is butthurt that people who support gun rights expect him to do his job and get the facts. I mean, I understand it can be difficult to know what you’re talking about but you seem capable of research since you can put words on the internet. He refers to it as gunsplaining. A term which should be given the same level of credibility as mansplaining and white privilege (i.e., none).
If you’re advocating for a policy change of legislation, it helps to know what the fuck you’re talking about. And you don’t and that makes you look like a hack.
I’m sure this will go well:
Department of Justice moves to ban bump stocks, classifying them as ‘machine guns’ under federal law
One would think that this would be something the Congress would have to do. But now that we’re ruled by unelected bureaucrats, that’s not required. And the president told them to do it.
But I doubt it will go anywhere: Yes, The ATF ARE Investigating The Dumb Anti-Gun Virginia Candidate Who Sawed The Barrel Of An AR-15
Watch a quick shot in super slow motion:
Impressive.
The Justice Department wants more money so ATF can process NFA paperwork faster. And I’m sure the always think forfeiture crowd will only use the money for that.
A Rocklin High School teacher is on paid administrative leave over her views about the national school walk out. The teacher says all she did was open up a debate about the politics of the protest in her classroom.
Sounds like a good lawsuit to me.
Publicola is none to pleased with the Metrocon Fortnightly’s embrace of GVROs. Neither am I. Due process and all. I’m also not a fan of NRA’s apparent embrace of something that is different but mostly the same. But Sebastian is correct that means the NRA has calculated that it will likely lose that fight.
Out of the country where weed is the norm and bank regs are lax. Be back Mondayish. Talk amongst yourselves.
Membership in gun rights groups is up. The local press reported last week’s gun show had a record turnout in both vendors and attendees. After a bunch of teenagers threaten NRA members and gun owners in general, this is the result. Good.
An Oregon man filed suits Monday claiming Dicks Sporting Goods and Walmart discriminated against the 20-year-old when they refused to sell him a rifle.
What about a 20 year old single mom who wants a rifle to protect her home?
New Gun Bill Would Mandate Reporting of Buyers Blocked by Background Check:
A bipartisan group of senators today unveiled legislation requiring federal authorities to notify state law enforcement officials when a person barred from purchasing a gun attempts to do so.
Shouldn’t they maybe inform the ATF?
Delta sold a reported 13 tickets for the NRA discount. And for their stance, they’ll likely lose a lot more business.
The usual suspects are behind the supposed groundswell for gun control coming from the kids in Florida.
The History of the ‘Assault Weapon’ Hoax. Part 1: The Crime that Started it All
And it’s on purpose: ‘Assault Weapon’ Banners Assert False Distinctions Because the Real Ones Are Silly
Walmart will no longer sell rifles to those under 21. Dick’s Sporting Goods will no longer sell “assault rifles” which is kind of surprising because if they were selling “assault rifles” that would have been illegal.
FedEx didn’t abandon the NRA but issued some silly statement supporting gun control. So, I kind of laughed today when FedEx delivered my bump stock.
Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
