Boberg XR9. Looks interesting but a little 9 coming in at just of a kilobuck seems a little high.
Suppressed M&P22. I wanted an M&P22 until I found out it was basically a Walther P22.

For what it is worth (not much), I love my P22.

The M&P22 has a whole different feel to it then the Walther Product or the Sig Mosqito for that matter.
The P22 feels like a 3/4 sized toy. The Smith feels more like a full sized pistol and works pretty damn well, it just happens to take the same P22 adaptor to bring the threads up to 1/2×28. It is not a redressed P22.
I do wish however that Smith had made interchangable backstraps ala real M&P pistols.

John, my understanding was that the innards of the M&P were pretty much like the P22. Hope i’m wrong, then i’ll buy one.

If you suppress it, you won’t. It starts rattling apart.

Well that’s not what I want to hear. Guess I need to take my P22 with me to the gun show next time I go.

I’ll pay money for a Zamak gun that says “Hi-Point” or “Jennings” on the side…but something that says “S&W” or “SIG” or “Walther” on the slide you expect a gun made from something OTHER than melted-down hotwheels.

No idea about the internals. I will have a look next time it is in hand.
