Well, that is as it should be: He is a celebrity, extremely wealthy, and donates to the right politicians.
He is better, smarter, faster, stronger, and more moral than you and me, and OUGHT to be trusted with a firearm.
What’s the problem? What did you say: “equality before the law”? What kind of garbage are they teaching people like you these days? Jeez…

Well, I have to agree with his comment. When I carry a firearm it is with the intention and purpose to harm or kill. But the condition is particular, I carry it with the intention to harm or kill anyone in the process of harming my family.
And I do not really see any other role.

Given that some various black racists were pissed as hell at him and calling him “Uncle Tom” when he was on Oprah and gave his now famous “Pound Cake” rant, I’d carry a gun too!
Of course I’d also apologies for my wrong-headed anti-gun views (and given that I was once anti-gun myself, I did just that)
But then again as Mike says, he’s wealthy and politically connected, so maybe he thinks only the elite should be able to carry.
BTW what a racist world we live in where a penniless black son of an alcoholic living in the slums of Philadelphia can grow up to be part of the wealthy elite who hold NYC carry permits.

That news story stating that Cosby has a carry permit is from 1993 and may not reflect his current situation.

Reminds me of the Nashville Councilman who told me that anyone with a carry permit is a vigilante.
Except for him, of course. And his friends that have permits.
But everyone who he doesn’t know? Vigilantes.

I am disappointed with Mr. Cosby, also. Not for the same reasons, he’s a comedian. God forbid, a comedian might make a poor choice, when it comes down to the words they speak.
