“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles.”
I have boundless admiration for this girl and boundless contempt for the morons she is speaking to. The proposed Maryland legislation is just as stupid and worthless as the crap that was recently passed here in NY,and yesterday in CT.
When a 15 year old is more intelligent, more educated about the issues, and better capable of logical thinking, than our so-called represeniatives are,I fear this country is doomed.Sadly, the young girl in this video will no longer live in a free country by the time she is old enough to vote.
I hope at least half the MD Legislature gets indicted for the backdoor stuff that is going on right now. They have been voting “for” the delagates that weren’t there on both the House and State Senate. I might be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you can’t just decide what the absent rep would have wanted. It’s about as corrupt as it can get in MD right now…totally going for broke.
They passed an Amendment making it a felony for an off duty copy to respond to a school armed, even during a critical incident/active shooter scenario. Setting aside the anomosity that some people have for cops in general( and jokes about NYDP), can you honestly say with a straight face that in an active shooter situation in a May issue stay were May means no, you would rather have kids get murdered until on duty First Responders arrive than have an armed off duty cop attempt to stop the threat? That is truly the insane running the asylum. Thanks for representing my County and State, Kathleen Dumais. I look forward to registering as a Democrat for 2014 and voting for anyone that isn’t you in the primary.
One quick call from You-Know-Who to the beleaguered NCAA should put paid to those rifle scholarships, once and for all. This will be hard news for all the Germans, Italians and Swedes in line for Mountaineering.
Either way, there’s little danger of Terrapin Rifle unseating WVU (because there IS NO Terrapin Rifle). That young woman is heading for Texas Christian or Ole Miss, and her legislature knows it.
They’s vote for it anyway. To them she is not worthy of contempt. Some may even think she is not a human as she has a different view and some would love for the government to confiscate her guns, drag her out into the street and using the AR’s owned by the state videotape them executing her in public without trial and use the footage to scare others into turning in their weapons.
If the liberal leftist government has to kill 50-90 million US citizens so be it. They are not human and therefore not worthy of life.
And as messed up as what I said is we all know deep in out hearts if given the opportunity they would pounce upon it.
Sarah is without doubt the real deal. I had the pleasure of working with her and her father those days and I assure you she is not a “prop”. She not only testified, but she sat in Senate caucus rooms and met multiple law makers to explain the issues and challenges the Governor’s law would create. Likewise another young woman named Victoria – a 14 year old who wielded a pink telescoping stock with her wherever she went.
I can say – with confidence – that these two young women were instrumental in eliminating both thumb-hole stocks and telescoping stocks from the “Evil Features Test”. Their poise, confidence and patience when teaching lawmakers about the issues complimented the work of a team.
Both young ladies sat countless hours in back rooms, waiting. They researched the bills and answered questions from Senators and House members. As the situation changed, they sat right there and wrote response papers.
So please don’t call them props. I know that no harm was intended. But they did more than most.

Well said. Not sure if it will make any difference in Maryland though.

She’s talking to the kids who don’t pay attention and wonder why they fail…

So now we have our poster child prop, too. Excellent.

Because making your case articulately at age 15 is the same as being paraded out in front of cameras and told to look weepy.

She did great.
The guy off to her left and rear needs to close his mouth when chewing his cud. It’s distracting.

Gosh. She seems…nice.

On the other hand, a rifle scholarship at Annapolis is valued well over $400,000. But you can’t live at home.
