I carry a flashlight 100% of the time when out of the house and always after dusk when in the house. A good brand like Streamlight comes in dozens of configurations and none of my three Streamlights draw down the batteries when not in use. My all-round favorite is the Pro-Tac 2AAA – roughly the size of a ballpoint pen and with a handy pocket clip.

Light in mouth sounds good until something or someone his it. Could be very painful.

NJT should try that in a class that involves some moving and shooting. Or, better, force-on-force. There’s maybe a reason ever’body else isn’t doing it that way. 😉
