Meet the new boss
Same as the old boss only she can’t move her eyes or furrow her brow. Rich on the Democrat leadership:
The American People Have Spoken, and They Want Change
Which is why we’re hearing the same old names coming to the front for leadership positions in congress on both sides of the aisle.
Ayup. See, election time is over. So, all that talk about reform and new directions and ethics and rainbows and kittens and lollipops was just that. Talk.

Dem’s are like the old nag that can only find it’s way home.
AND!
They hate rainbows, murder kittens, and steal your daughters lolllipops.
I’ve been saying so for years.

I still think she is a radio-controlled mannequin…

Well, at least the Dems aren’t completely stupid. They chose Hoyer over Murtha.
Seems like they may actually get something right.

The Hoyer-over-Murtha election actually bodes well for gun owners. Most of the “Blue Dogs” bucked Pelosi and went for Hoyer, which means that if she tries to bring up the Assault Weapons Ban she’ll get it shoved back in her face. Most Dems want to stay in the majority for more than one election.

huh? Just because the Dems elected the same leaders, that means that there will no changes?!? Did it occur to you that the Democrats are now in the majority? And the Republicans in the minority.

It occurred to a lot of people. The only difference is that most of us fail to see any real difference. Especially looking at who Pelosi has been supporting for key positions like Murtha and Hastings. If she is supporting those in her party who have previously been ethically challenged for chairmanships and leader roles, does this make her an ethics reformer, or just another politician.
I vote for just another politician.

I see your point. Having said that, my opinion is that one can not be successful in politics without being ethically challenged. Its not a case of thou shalt not steal, its a case of thou shalt not get caught.

Heh. On that, we agree.
