Not sure about all those beer bets now
Barack Monosodium Glutamate Obama was neck and neck with Hillsy last week. Now, Hillsy is rumored to be up 20 points.
When asked why, Obama replied with I dunno, you dumb cousin-humping redneck.

They’re still going to nominate Obama, it doesn’t matter.
April 14th, 2008 at 3:48 pm
Good. He will lose.
April 14th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
Yup. I woke up the other day and suddenly realized I wasn’t worried about the election at all anymore. It’s a nice feeling. I guess voting for Hillary in the Ohio primary was worth the indigestion after all.
April 14th, 2008 at 4:46 pm
Uncle,
Double or nothing?
April 14th, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Actually, I guess that’s the wrong betting metaphor…care to up the ante?
April 14th, 2008 at 4:55 pm
Well, you’re already getting good odds since the bookies have put at 6:1 Obama favorite. Besides, I always forget: did I bet you he would win the primary or not? Because I bet you one way and tom the other way and keep forgetting which.
I think at one point I conceded that obama would win the nom. Just not sure who made which bet.
April 14th, 2008 at 5:45 pm
I think we bet a beer he’d win the nomination, and I bet a 6 pack he’d win the general. I’m winning to up to a bottle of bourbon (Knob Creek?) that Obama will be the next President.
April 14th, 2008 at 6:08 pm
Sean – you need to be good and drunk when Obama wins? What does that say about him? :p
April 14th, 2008 at 6:24 pm
Jim,
Says I celebrate waaayyy too much with alcohol.
April 14th, 2008 at 7:56 pm
so do you win a case and half when he wins? If odds go up does that turn into a keg? Are micros off the table?
April 14th, 2008 at 8:03 pm
What I want to know is how much San Francisco gelt did Barak Hemispherical Combustion Chamber Obama pull down from those rich Commie-Crackers?
The peeps with whom he was dishing Teh Flyover are extremely wealthy, a huge concentration of America’s Trust-Fund Babies lives here, and the last anybody in most of their families who worked was Great-Grandpa…
If he runs and loses someone on the Left will kill him and blame the Right, that’s how the Left operates – taking no prisoners and suffering no Losers – unless they’re really rich losers like Kennedy and Kerry.

Obama doesn’t look very Presidential. Looking down on people doesn’t demonstrate Presidential ability.

#9,
You’ve never cracked a History book I see.

Knob Creek it is. Plus delivery. Tend to make these bets and no one pays up because no one wants to drive.

Sean, your man let slip his world view. He won’t recover from this little moment of truth. If his crazy Minister wasn’t enough he now lets slip he sees himself as superior.
God and guns? Your guy demeans God and guns? I have read some history. Let me tell you, Obama is history.
Obama says, “Let them eat cake”, voters say “fuck off”.

The country was founded on Elitism. The founding fathers set up the system to only allow for land owning whites to take part in the system. The founding fathers went for a republican form of government to blunt the impact of the mob (hence, no direct election of Senators or President).
I appreciate that you think this has killed Obama’s candidacy, and perhaps it has, but your analysis of what American Presidents have been about is not historically accurate. Its only been the past 50 or so years that the people demanded that Presidents dumb it down for us.
April 15th, 2008 at 10:01 am
Uncle,
I’ll be happy to break the law to pay up on the bet (or be paid).

Flash, this just in, Founding Fathers were elitist.
Come on Sean, are you inferring that Obama is like our Founding Fathers? The Founders had strong feelings about God and Guns.
April 15th, 2008 at 11:34 am
#9,
I’m inferring your comment was historically inaccurate, that is all. As for their strong feelings on God and Guns, it would appear based on his words, Obama has strong feelings on the former, and by his voting record, he has strong feelings on the latter.
