Shooting in Montreal
In the 1990s, Canada toughened it’s gun laws as a result of a school shooting that occured in 1989. They had one shooting in 1992 and one yesterday. Gun laws rarely stop crazy people.

How many shootings have occurred in US police stations full of armed cops? Or for that matter, in NRA meetings?

“How many school shootings has the US had in that interval?” A few, but we’ve got a LOT more schools and school kids. And we’ve had two school shootings stopped by citizens with guns – that’s two more than Canada.
