Stupid questions

It’s no secret that I am not a big fan of Bill Clinton. The man got a pass in the press for years, unless it involved dick sucking. Someone at Fox finally asked him a tough question. But it was a stupid question. The question may as well have been Why are you a moron? It was a partisan question and was phrased in a way that the man could not possibly answer it effectively.

As opposed to, say, the questions that the press throw at Bush, Rumsfeld, Cheney, etc, every time they have a press conference?

Billy boy can dish it out, but he can’t take it.

  3. robert Says:

I can’t work up much sympathy for Bill at this time.

  4. Drake Says:

Yeah, really. He looked me and everyone else in the country, wagged his finger, and lied about that plump little jewess. He may very well be telling at least some truth this time, but his credibility is long since shot. One thing’s for certain…the term “Mogadishu Model” came about during his term and has been referenced by Bin Laden before. I’d try and spin the positives if I were Bubba myself.

In the lead up to the question Wallace gave Clinton the proper answer to the question, and it could have been easily deflected. Clinton chose to puff up and go the route of “how Darest Thee!”

  6. Captain Holly Says:

I think it was Dick Morris who said that the more guilty Clinton is of some bad behavior, the more outraged he gets when someone accuses him of it.

I’d say Wallace was right on target.

BJ sees his legacy slip slidin’ away. Despite his ability to charm, history will see him as weak when we needed him strong, and only remember that he has the morals of a rodent. His complaining only makes it worse.

If Hildibeast gets the job, she’ll have to nail his mansack to the floor of the Lincoln bedroom to keep him home while she’s busy destroying the pathetic tatters of what’s left of the Constitution.

If it was a partisan question, which party is it associated with? I could have sworn Bill Clinton and Don Rumsfeld were members of two different parties.

  9. straightarrow Says:

Funny that it was only a partisan shot when asked of Clinton. Say Uncle, you missed that call. There were many ways he could have answered, none of them however would have exculpated him and the truth is just too damn dirty. So he threw a tantrum. Of course, he has Secret Service protection so he can.

On what fucking planet? How much press was given to various and sundry non-scandals with little or no evidence to back them up, all throughout his presidency? I wasn’t a Clinton fan, either (I even voted against him in 1996), but c’mon! From 1994 to 2000 it was damn-near a non-stop witch hunt. “Whitewatergate,” “Travelgate,” Ron Brown, “Troopergate,” “Filegate,” Paula Jones, Vince Foster, Gennifer Flowers, the Cox Report… all of these got extensive press.

What I wouldn’t give for George W. Bush to be given this kind of “pass” in the press…

TOm, sounds like you listened to limbaugh or something.

  12. tgirsch Says:

    Try “liberal” CNN.

  13. tgirsch Says:

It’s a liberal source, so you’ll have to filter a bit, but this gives a good comparison of the treatment Clinton and W received from the media on similar issues. They were much harder on Clinton. And we’re talking about sources like the AP, the Washington Post, the New York Times, etc.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
