Say Uncle’s next build project?
Since Say Uncle likes to rebuild firearms, I thought of him when I saw this. All he needs is $32,000 and he may redefine the modern neighborhood watch.

$32K is a bit, err, steep. So, is it a MG or gatlin?

Instead of a motor just install a hand-crank on it. Of course owning that plus any electric motor would constitute “constructive possession” of a unregistered post ’86 machine gun.;)

But what about the AR in 6.8? You know you want to. I already got my Mega Gator lower from a buddy. I love FTF transactions, cash goes one way, gun goes the other, voila!
I also noticed that Model 1 kits come with completely ASSEMBLED, gaged and head-spaced uppers, not parts like I originally thought. I got that Mega lower from a guy who built his AR from a Model 1 kit. His turned out pretty well.

Ben, cool. The 6.8 is on the list. But not in the near term, unfortunatley.

Me neither, I’m not getting around to the build until maybe February or March. Or later. But I got the lower. My buddy came to my lab at school, and I showed it around to some of my buddies that I got into shooting. It’s funny that the lower is the legal “gun,” but as a stripped piece of metal is perfectly harmless. I wonder if I violated the “no guns on campus” policy?

A car alternator could be an electric motor if you run the power the other way…so if I have an alternator and a hand crank gatling, to I have an unregistered MG?
