Bloomberg: Criminal
LaPierre is again asking that you call ATF’s Illegal Gun Hotline at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (that’s 1-800-283-4867) and tell them that New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is hiring private investigators to commit straw purchases in several states, and you want them to investigate. Ask them if Bloomberg has turned over his videotaped “evidence” to ATF and, if not, has the ATF subpoenaed the evidence?
Well, hop to it. I’ll be here when you get back.
Meanwhile, The Bloomberg Approach to Crime. Heh.

Weren’t those “simulated” straw purchases? How do you prosecute those?

they don’t really appear to be straw purchases. That requires that the intended recipient be a prohibited person. I do not know that Bloomberg is a prohibited person. However, as they were buying the guns with somebody else’s money, they had to have falsified the 4473 form, else the sales would have been terminated short of fruition. If you are acting as an agent of another question 11 prohibits one from purchase.
That is what the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Fuck Everybody should be prosecuting.

lying on a form 4473 makes you a criminal.

in this case it makes you a felon. It makes Bloomberg a co-conspirator to commit a crime. Criminal conspiracy is a felony even if the resutant crime is a misdemeanor.

But did they lie on the form? They only pretended to lie, correct?
