Mitt Romney at the SHOT Show

He is. No doubt, he’s looking for items he wants to ban.

Or did he find his pro-gun Jesus in an election year? I doubt it.

  1. Bitter Says:

He learned to fake his pro-gun Jesus in about late 2005 when his name started getting floated for president.

If you haven’t listened to the Glenn and Helen podcast with him yet, you should. It’s painful to hear him dance around the gun issue. In fact, the multiple parts of this “Lesson” by Mitt will include that interview.

  2. Rustmeister Says:

I have to wonder, with all those guns, knives and whatnot all over the place, shouldn’t there be blood in the aisles by now?

  3. Sean Braisted Says:

If, like me, you believe that David Koresh was the Messiah returned to the Earth; than of course Jesus was pro-Gun.

  4. SayUncle Says:

Don’t make me get all Luke 11:21 on ya.

  5. Michael Says:

Who does Romney think he is fooling, I know it is not me. I know what he is all about. I ain’t voting for him.

  6. Captain Holly Says:

I defend Romney alot, because people attribute all sorts of silly things to him because of his religion. But I have to admit, I don’t really like the guy that much, because he is kinda slippery.

I’ve met him in person, and he’s a nice man and all, but he is a politician after all and should be viewed only as such.

The jury on the guy is still out with me.

I saw him handle a CNN interview about his 1994 pro-choice position when he ran against evil personified in the Mass. Senate race and lost.

He admitted to flip-flopping on the issue and to changing his mind.

Actually, Bush 41 did the same thing when Reagan chose him as his running mate in 1980, saying his thinking on abortion had “evolved”.

But then again, I changed my mind on the same topic 25 or so years ago.

I also did on guns for that matter, many years ago.

If Romney is a convert to the pro-2A camp, he is welcome if he is the real deal.

If not, I will ignore him.

  8. JustinB Says:

Is Mitt still wearing his magical Mormon underwear?

  9. countertop Says:

I can think of, oh, about 10 million other mormons I’d rather see in the white house

  10. David Says:

Magical Mormon underwear??? Christians wear a cross, Jews wear phylateries, Muslims wear a hijab, and Mormons wear garments. What’s the big deal? Look at the man for what he’s capable of and don’t bluntly label him for where he finds spiritual solace.

  11. JustinB Says:

My bad…maybe he was just staring into a hat at some magical rocks…looking for buried lucky charms…err..gold tablets…

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
