Poker in front
Seems a Tennessee Senator is wanting to liberalize our liquor laws and wants to allow gambling establishments. I’m all for it. There’s likely a lot of Tennessee dollars that go to casinos in Tunica and to the casino at Cherokee, NC.
Says Braisted:
Legalize it, regulate it, and tax it…the liberal philospy(sic) of life
Actually, I thought it was If you can’t tax it or ban it, fuck it up to the point where no one wants it anyway.

Subsidize it or marginalize it under the guise of a “moral panic”.

I’d love to see gambling legalized and liquor laws liberalized, but it isn’t likely to happen. The religious righties have far too much power.

What is it with you and the (sic)?
Is it motivated by a wish to quote accurately or is it motivated by a wish to show people up? I mean you have several alternatives. You could email them. You could fix it yourself. Or you could just leave it as is. I’m sure I’ve done what you do as a matter of routine but, when I do it, I am consciously trying to be a prick.
Are you?

Err, because (sic) is what you do? If my spell checker picks it up, I (sic) it. I’ve even (sic)ed myself.
Not trying to be (sic) prick. Just what I do.
