This one time, at band camp
I’ve mentioned before that a number of years ago, I played in a band. I was inspired when Rich posted videos of Barry‘s band. With youtube, bandwidth is infinite and free. So, here’s a song we did a number of years ago (2001ish, IIRC) complete with a static picture of a bunny with a pancake on its head. And who doesn’t like bunnies and pancakes? The bunny doesn’t actually do anything. Just listen. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you Sharon and David (kinda heavy metalish):
Feel free to offer accolades or tell them they suck. Just tell them why. Enjoy. Or not.

Kick ass! Pretty nice, really. Good sounds, good vocal intonation and good mastering. Having been a (big-shot, professional, yadda, yadda, you’ve heard it before a hundred times) I’d only add one minor suggestion:
In mixing rock music, and any of its spin-offs, start with a baseline mix arranged thus: After making sure all the inputs are sonding good (and you have that covered already) assuming you’re using individual mics on the drums (and you should be) get a nice balance on the kit by itself, then (here it is): Set your signal peaks on the kick drum, snare, bass and lead instruments at the same level, with lead vocal somewhere close to that.
Start with that, listen to it for a while, and then see what levels you want to change from there. My guess is you’ll end up with the same mix I’m hearing, but with a little bit more drums.

Oh no. One of the things a person should never have to hear is me singing.
