Problems like those the folks in California are constantly faced with are not solved by simply running away to a “free state”. They must be dealt with by the citizens of said state(s), altough the time to effect change (at least in Calif.) has probably long since passed.
How does that quote go again?
Something like: “America is at that awkward stage where it’s too late to effect change through the political system, but too early to take up arms.“
I offered to buy him a stripped AR lower if he moves to TN. Can I get someone to chip in for a lower parts kit and someone else to grab a 6-position collapsable stock?
There are four states that I think are a total loss for us at this point: Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and California. In descending order in terms of how lost they are. Maryland and Illinois are in trouble, but still savable. I’d put Hawaii and Connecticuit in the basket of having some bad laws, but we’re not really being challenged there in a big way. If you live in any of these battleground states, I would say to gun owners that it’s noble to stay and fight. If you live in the unfabulous four, I’d skedaddle. There are times to stand and fight, and times to admit defeat and retreat from the field.
