McCain to speak at NRA con
It’s true. In the event I actually run into him, anything you want me to ask? Should I ask about baseball or McCain-Feingold?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Ask him when/if he will apologize for his and Lindsey Graham’s comments calling us bigots for wanting immigration laws to be enforced. Ask about his views on Park carry…

A waste of time asking any questions.
He’s not a newby, we know where he stands.
If we’re lucky, we’ll get McCain and 4 years to buy ammo. He is not reliable on the 2A.

Ask him if he supports the idea that the 2nd Amendment (either directly or within its emanations and penumbras) should be read to support an individual right to self defense using weapons, including firearms.
OR just ask him if individual self defense is an inalienable human right, inherent in all people, which cannot and should not be taken away by governement fiat.

Did you think I hadn’t confirmed it before I posted it on the Blog Bash site? 🙂

Actually, I just somehow missed it.
May 6th, 2008 at 1:38 pm
Ask him why he left the republican party.
May 6th, 2008 at 2:31 pm
McCain signed the letter from Congress to the DOI supporting changing the rule, so McCain is on our side on this issue.

Cavalry Arms.
May 6th, 2008 at 2:54 pm
Ask him to go shooting with you. Photo-op.
(Alternative: ask about executive orders and guns — import restrictions and whatnot.)

Ask him what he thinks should happen to politicians who take an Oath to defend and protect the Constitution and then set straight out to violate that Oath.
Ask him what he thinks should happen to politicians who bitch about our dependence on imported oil and at the very same time work to prevent us from developing our own sources.
Ask him what he thinks of politicians who claim to “support our troops” and yet strive in every way possible to undermine their mission.
Ask him if he really has bought into the global warming hoax, or if it’s just a political posture he’s taken so as to endear himself to the Left.
Ask him if thinks the ethanol subsidies are stupid, given that it takes more energy to produce it than comes out of it, and given that the markets should be determining what, and how much, we use.
Ask him if he agrees with Karl Marx, that our economy should be centrally planned, or if he agrees instead with the Founders of this country– that the purpose of government is to secure our Liberty.

retro, the Republican party is the _original_ centralizing, nationalizing, Big Government party.
I hate to quote Abraham Lenin, but he did make a joke about a couple of drunk guys who had a fight, and by the time the fight was over, each was wearing the other’s coat.
May 6th, 2008 at 9:29 pm
Asking him anything is a waste of breath. He’s a conservative Democrat with a hot temper and a let-them-eat-cake attitude.
May 6th, 2008 at 9:30 pm
Ask if he will abolish the ATF.
May 7th, 2008 at 1:59 am
Ask him about his justification for his ads urging voters to close the “gun show loophole” that played out west back in 2000.
Bloomberg’s Mayors Against Guns organization is currently exploiting this endorsement. Will he renounce that position?
May 7th, 2008 at 2:10 am
ask him how a war hero can turn his coat?
May 7th, 2008 at 9:59 am
He needs to be in the audience listening instead of being at the podium speaking.
Maybe Cheney will take him hunting.
