You can shit in one hand and HopeChangetm in the other and see which one fills up first
People say to me Hey, Uncle, what’s your problem with Barack My Balogna Has A First Name It’s Obama?
Well, I’m gonna tell you. And it ain’t pretty. I could go on about how the man has no significant legislative accomplishments; or that he’s an anti-gun big government liberal; or that I’m not voting for him because I don’t want socialized health care; or that his foreign policy ideas sound bad. Or whatever. But that’s all minor and, frankly, par for the course for recent Democrat also-rans.
Or the transparent doofusness involved in the horse shit he’s peddling. I mean, here’s an article chosen at random from a news search. Barack Ron Paul Obama blasts McCain for doing too little to help Americans avoid crippling debts. Really, sparky? And your bill introduced in the Senate to address this issue is where? Oh, the dog ate it? I see. Now, generally, I like do-nothing politicians. They’re less dangerous. But I have a feeling maybe he’s saving it up.
But, no, none of that is why I take issue with the guy. I mean, hypocrisy, lies and rhetoric are what all politicians are made of. But that’s not what scares me about this guy. What does scare me? His worshipers. Seriously, these people scare the ever-living piss out of me. Have you heard some of these people? I mean, it has gone beyond Saturday Night Live parodies. I mean Ron Paul supporters got nothing on this guy. Here’s some scariness:
Are those anything like digital brownshirts:
A crack team of cybernauts will form a rapid response internet “war room” to track and respond aggressively to online rumours that Barack Obama is unpatriotic and a Muslim.”
Holy shit.
Is Obama an enlightened being?
Spiritual wise ones say: This sure ain’t no ordinary politician.
Double holy shit.
Bruce sums up a Wizbang post (read the comments) about convincing him to vote for Obama.
Holy shit again.
The man blew his nose and got applause.
This one leaves me speechless:
If Obama were in any sense mediocre, he would be forgotten by now. He is, in fact, a remarkable human being, not perfect but humanly stunning, like King was and like Mandela is. He is the change America has been trying desperately and for centuries to hide, ignore, kill. The change it must have if we are to convince the rest of the world that we care about people other than our (white) selves.
How do you say ‘holy shit’ when speechless?
How does a cult figure, in the eyes of some something akin to a messiah, make the transition to a political frontrunner – president even – where disappointment will soon crush what seemed to be a journey to a promised land?
Holy shit. Or rather:
These people scare me. Kinda like how some of the Ron Paul folks scared me.
June 12th, 2008 at 9:39 am
So what do the people who support him have to do with Barack Obama? I’m sure there are some unsavory characters supporting McCain…but its hard to tell because so few people are supporting McCain. It just seems like this election is coming down to whether you’ll vote for or against Barack Obama, McCain is almost an afterthought.
June 12th, 2008 at 9:52 am
I have yet to see a mainstream publication yammer on about McCain being a near perfect spiritual being or the messiah taking the human race to the next level of evolution. When that happens, you might have a point.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:10 am
So I take it you dislike Ronald Reagan because of all the sycophants who claim him to be the second coming?
June 12th, 2008 at 10:20 am
Again, find that view mimicked in the press, and you may have a point. Of course, Reagan’s deification occurred after he left office.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:27 am
“You can shit in one hand and HopeChange™ in the other and see which one fills up first”
And when you’re done, the result will be the same in both hands…
June 12th, 2008 at 10:32 am
Fuck Juan McShame
June 12th, 2008 at 10:39 am
Be careful, Unc. They might call you a racist because you don’t support the messiah.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:41 am
Blake, I’ve been lucky to avoid the Obamaniacs. I think it’s because I do the middle name gag.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:48 am
Or, its because Obama supporters rarely call people racist…unless they say something that can be construed as racist.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:48 am
Nobody actually talks about Reagan like he was a messiah.
And even if they did, he still wasn’t a gun-grabbing do-nothing prick.
June 12th, 2008 at 10:53 am
“…the middle name gag.”
Which — I must tell you — is just beautiful. I took one perfunctory stab at it (with an attribution link to you), but it’s just too self-conscious for me to keep copping that thing. You’ve got it completely wired, and it’s an Uncle net.original.
Really well done.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:12 am
Or, its because Obama supporters rarely call people racist
Um…really? I’ve been seeing it all over the place. Mainly when they rabidly come out in the comments on some sites.
Friends of mine that support Obama have even implied it.
So…maybe it’s just the annoying liberals and not the idealistic ones that are doing it.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:31 am
Blake,
What prompted your liberal friends to imply that you are a racist? Did you say something racist?
June 12th, 2008 at 11:34 am
yeah, he said he wouldn’t support obama. that’s racist! remember? Keep up, jeez.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:36 am
So his friends found out that Blake, a Republican, wouldn’t vote for a Democrat, and they implied he was a racist? I guess Blake needs to get some better friends.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:40 am
actually, i was just joking. i dunno what blake was gettign at.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:42 am
Maybe they should find a better candidate to be disciples of (*ahem*).
Blake also does not equal Republican (yes, I spoke of myself in the third person).
Why do you have to be so divisive? Does everyone have to be in one of two categories? 🙂 heh
June 12th, 2008 at 11:42 am
No, you were right on, Uncle.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:44 am
I guess Blake needs to get some better friends.
You mean non-Democrats? 😛
June 12th, 2008 at 11:49 am
I dunno, I have Republican friends and I’ve never said they were racist for not supporting Barack Obama. Hell, I don’t even call them racist when they say racist shit; live and let live.
June 12th, 2008 at 11:55 am
But you see, Sean…you’re a liberal that isn’t like those other guys. 🙂
June 12th, 2008 at 11:58 am
I mean…except for your refusal to support the fight against northern aggression. heheheh
Crap…now they’ll probably call me a racist again.
June 12th, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Racist!!!
June 12th, 2008 at 12:27 pm
Obama’s anti-American, a closet muzzie, and a racist. There, I said it!
June 12th, 2008 at 12:33 pm
I don’t know if Michelle Malkin is definitively a racist, but considering she made her bones endorsing the temporary enslavement of her people during WWII, I do think she’s got a few screws loose.
June 12th, 2008 at 12:34 pm
Dude, you know nothing of racism. Only white people can be racist. Pay attention will ya! I’m tired of doing the heavy lifting.
😉
June 12th, 2008 at 12:48 pm
Ahh, I keep forgetting…do Hispanics count as white?
June 12th, 2008 at 1:15 pm
“Barack Obama is unpatriotic…”
That’s not true. Obama doesn’t simply lack patriotism, he opposes it. He is as anti-patriotic as he is anti-American.
As for his being a Muslim, it’s much, much worse for him than that. Not merely a simple follower of the religion of Islam was Barack. He was a card-carrying member of the fanatical Rev. Wright’s Church-of-Hating-America for twenty years, and only quit recently and reluctantly. I think he may well end up wishing he’d been a Muslim.
June 12th, 2008 at 1:35 pm
Insightful commentary Chas.
June 12th, 2008 at 2:18 pm
I have a couple of questions that people of the Uncle might be able to answer for me about Barak {Censored} Obama on the intertubes….
1. Is there a list of Obama’s excuses on the internet? (like it was his staff’s fault or that is not the person he knew, etc)
2. With his assention to Obamessiah, anybody seen people calling him the Anti-Christ (666, the beast, etc) yet?
I figure it is coming, just wondered if it had started yet. From Wikipedia
‘Antichrist’ is translated from the combination of two ancient Greek words αντί + χριστος. In Greek, χριστος means “anointed one” and refers to Jesus Christ.[1] αντί means not only anti in the sense of “against” and “opposite of”, but also “in place of”.[2] Therefore, an antichrist opposes Christ by substituting himself for Christ.
June 12th, 2008 at 2:27 pm
1) Depends on the situation…but here is something along those lines. http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/05/obamas-inabilit.html
2) Yes, http://www.barackobamaantichrist.blogspot.com/
June 12th, 2008 at 2:28 pm
The anti-christ? Oh boy. That’s more frightening than the people who believe he’s a closeted muslim who will kill us all.
June 12th, 2008 at 2:56 pm
My baloney has a first name,
It’s B – A – R – R- Y
My baloney has a second name,
It’s O – B – A – M – A
Oh he grants me salvation every day,
And if you ask me how, I say,
It’s cuz Barack Obama has a way,
with B – O – L – O – G – N – A
June 12th, 2008 at 3:19 pm
I bet some PC Liberals will call this racist too.
June 12th, 2008 at 3:55 pm
1. That link is something to show that blaming his staff is probably his #1 excuse, but not all of them together.
2. Well it does get thrown about alot. I did a quick search of google and the second link was for Bush being the anti-christ and the 3rd was for Obama (but the obama link did not work).
June 12th, 2008 at 3:58 pm
– Exactly where did she endorse the enslavement of Americans during world war II?
June 12th, 2008 at 4:37 pm
In Defense of Internment
June 12th, 2008 at 4:48 pm
Glad you at least acknowledge that she is an American, that is all I cared about. Most liberals won’t even go half-way on that one.
June 12th, 2008 at 6:51 pm
Multiculturalism blinds people to the reality of the Melting Pot and the nature of being American.
Michelle’s pre-multi-culti “people” came not from the Islands of the Japanese but from the archipelago of the Philippines – with whom during WWII the Japanese dealt very harshly.
Unless you think that all Pacific-ish Islanderians are alike, which is in fact racist.
But that did not stop her either from recommending that the dreaded “profiling” include native inhabitants of the Philippines.

If i become a Cybernaut, do i get a cool helmet?
June 13th, 2008 at 6:56 am
Sean Brainsted:
It depends on whether they’re the ones being hated or the ones doing the hating. In the FBI’s bizarro world, Hispanics are often victims of hate crimes, but they never, ever commit them.
June 13th, 2008 at 6:26 pm
Let me weigh in as an Obama supporter…first I started off supporting Richardson, but switched to Obama when Richardson dropped out.
With regards to the charge of Rascism, frankly I haven’t seen anyone claim racism except in those cases where someone said something racist. Referring to Michelle as Barack’s “baby mama” is not cool. Even in this thread, I have seen accusations that opposing Obama=racism, but no concrete examples, just hearsay. Now I have no doubt that there are some who look at any opposition to Obama as racism, but I haven’t seen that wide-scale myself. Frankly, the Hillary supporters are way more vocal about her being the victim of sexism than Obama supporters have been about him being the victim of racism.
As to the messiah comments, yeah some of them are over the top, but lest we forget that he’s accomplished something pretty big. He’s taken on the Clinton machine and won. Hillary had all the advantages in the world..she had institutional support, she had the big money donors, she had the Clinton name. Obama went up against that and won. And now he’s leading one of the most electable Republicans out there.
Think of how excited y’all would be if Fred Thompson had been the Republican nominee…thats how we feel given that Obama was won the Democratic nomination.
June 14th, 2008 at 3:16 pm
“With regards to the charge of Rascism, frankly I haven’t seen anyone claim racism except in those cases where someone said something racist.”
Didn’t you get the memo? When we redefine words like “racism” we don’t spell it differently or capitalize it to let people _know_ we’re redefining it.

June 15th, 2008 at 10:54 pm
The cartoon I just linked to sums the whole thing up quite well…. White liberal guilt. Guilt for something none of us had anything to do with….and neither did most of our ancestors.
June 15th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
@Manish
Referring to Michelle Obama as a “baby mama” is about the same as She and Barack doing the ol’ hip hop fist bump on national television. So, shut your pie hole. If they want hip hop in their campaign….they get it.
June 15th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
@Manish
What, exactly, has he done? any bills or laws? What has this guy done for ANYONE but himself???
