Being one of the few rich and special people to get carry permits in NYC has it’s privileges.

Update 2: And $0.50 is a felon. He can’t even lawfully handle those guns.

Him and Sean Hannity. There’s a law that’s gotta fall–didn’t Scalia write in dicta that permits cannot be handed out in an arbitrary fashion?
The only place more arbitrary than MD seems to be NYC.

At least with Hannity he’s not a raging hypocrite–he’s taking advantage of an advantage denied the common man, so it’s a little hard to buy his “I’m just an everyday guy” schpiel in this regard at least, but hey if I were him I’d do the same thing. He’s certainly a celebrity and an at risk person.
I know what that’s like, having more risk than the rest of your community–you don’t want to leave home without protection.

Man I hope we get federally mandated reciprocity some day. I can’t wait till the NYPD has to STFU about people getting to defend themselves in that rathole.

Hannity doesn’t have a pistol license doesn’t have much of a personal interest in firearms at all.

Can’t seem to substantiate the Hannity claim, I know I read somewhere he packs a .357 but I can’t track it down. Could be wrong.
But the list of the high and mighty who do get to carry (or did at some point) in NYC includes many anti gunners, like Buckley and Schumer, not just Sulzberger. From Wikipedia:

I dont think Hannity has one, I know that he did a spot on the radio sometime last year where he was amazed at how hard it was to get on in NYC. But I dont think he ever got one.

Maybe that’s what I’m thinking of. But other TV and radio personalities have them–Imus, Stern, etc. Funny, crazy muthafuckas like that get to carry and you can’t. Go figure.

We have seen the pistol license list for NYC and Hannity ain’t on it. He doesn’t even live in NYC, he’s out on LI somewhere.
