The revolution will not be televised…because the government is out of cash to give away free digital tuner boxes.
On the radio here, Cleveland Ohio (WTAM) yesterday their afternoon drive time guy had on a constitutional expert looking for loopholes allowing citizens to storm city hall. We’ve had mayors suggest “adopting a trash can” to help with the budget shortfall…those mayors aren’t here anymore.
The problem as I see it is related to the growth of government. When it became a full time gig Americans simply lost the ability to keep tabs on these lunatics, there’s not enough time in a day. Maybe it’s time we had a 60 day comment period on EVERY law they try to pass.
I’ll see your eat shit and die and raise you southpark, 100% NSFW (or public)
Tom has a point, but i take it further. After 200+ years, haven’t all the important laws already been covered? All the new laws presented have to asisnine, because if it was important, then it would already have been passed.
There was a bit of this in Texas due to the drunken young adults inner-tubing on the Guadalupe River, who would harass the non-drunken families with what used to be referred to as “fighting words.”
Can’t recall the outcome, other than a few very well-publicized arrests by police located at the exit point of the river, with convictions for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
I think some of the residents along the river also started sniping with paintball guns from concealment in their back yards, adding to the merriment.

That’s not profanity, it’s obscenity. Profanity is — like — God damn. Christ on a cracker. Thor’s balls! Astarte’s tits!
Get it straight.

Didn’t this sort of law already get overturned by SCOTUS in Cohen v. California?
