Arsenal
A man accused of running down and shooting an Illinois pastor to death mid-sermon left an arsenal of guns in his bedroom as well as an index card marked “Last Day Will.”
The arsenal in accused gunman Terry Sedlacek’s room included two 12-gauge shotguns, a rifle and a box of 550 .22-caliber bullets, according to court documents filed Tuesday.
Arsenal = 3. Good to know. I have several arsenals, then. And a value pack of ammo that you can get at Wal-Mart.

Good grief. That means I have an “arsenal” right next to my BED (nightstand piece, shotgun, carry piece).
As for the ammo… wonder what they’d think of 50 of those 500-round value packs? (Those, however, are not next to my bed — they’re in the ammo locker.)

Well, I was going to say I have a nightstand arsenal, a truck arsenal, and a basement arsenal.

Sounds like they’d love to see the ammo cans in the closet I’ve got….

Heh, Looks like Kim was the first on the draw. Oddly I was about to quote his philosphy that .22 carbines and ammo don’t actually count as guns, but as household commodities.
I mean if your cupboards are empty save a bag of sugar, a sack of flour, a shaker of salt, and another of pepper would you say you have food?

That means I know very few gun owners that DON’T have arsenals.
Maybe two.

Hmmm. Never thought of a 20 guage, 22/10 Ruger (with the 500+ box of shells) and British 303 as an arsenal but it must be. Beware my house!

He could have murdered dozens of squirrels with that arsenal. WON’T ANYONE THINK OF THE SQUIRRELS????
Man murders pastor. Congregation tackles killer. AP focuses on a brick of 22 in his bedroom. AP hysteria FTW!

“Value pack of ammo that you USED to be able to get at Walmart…..”

According to this, an arsenal is a pile of rocks.

This person used a Glock in 45 caliber to kill the preacher. The report by AP details that he had a total of 30 rounds of ammo, in three 10 round magazines, one loaded in the gun.
I note that the 10 round magazine limit of the old Assault Weapons Bill would have had zero effect on this crime. Did the preacher realize he was being shot with a politically correct weapon? I doubt that detail even crossed his mind as the gun was fired at him. After all, it is the first few bullets one worries about, not how many there are in total.
The man’s gun jammed after 4 rounds. AP does not detail if that was caused by the user or the congregation. Had not the congregants taken action, I wonder how many more he would have killed.

So if I carried one more gun and a box of ammo, would I have a traveling arsenal? Knew there was some reason I had started thinking about a boot-gun.
I think most of our houses would make this reporter pee himself.

Dang, I had an arsenal when I was twelve.

Many members of the Houston Police Dept wet themselves when they run the plates of a speeder and see they have a concealed handgun license (despite CHL holders being some of the most peaceful people in Houston). I’ve wondered how many helicopters and personnel-carriers they’d call if they stopped me on a range trip….

Oh, should note that I only have just over three arsenals(if each set of three counts as an arsenal.)
