ATF may take action on Bloomberg report
Looks like ATF may be looking into the dealers involved in the gun show bit done by NYC. Pretty clear some of the dealers were breaking the law. Last time Bloomy did this, ATF looked into it and told Bloomberg to knock it off because it compromised some investigations.

I wonder if the BATFE will also look into the straw purchases and out-of-state handgun purchases (both illegal) apparently perpetrated by Bloomy’s hired cronies.

Exactly right, Linoge. These are proxy purchases.

I emailed the Nashville Division Office on Thursday to ask them if they were going to enforce the law on straw purchases.
Not holding my breath on a response.

what about potential wiretapping law violations? How about the conspiracy and RICO laws?
Since bloomturd is only the mayor of a city, isn’t he technically impersonating an officer (since he’s not a fed)?
How’s this jive with sheriff Joe down there in AZ not being allowed to arrest illegals?

It would be interesting to see if the PIs used were residents of the states in which they worked the gun shows.

jj, per their report, they were.

OK, fine if they broke the law then they need to investigate it and take appropriate action. That being said, they also need to investigate and prosecute the SOBs that perped the acts themselves. They were not law enforcement personel and no legimate placw doing what they did. they should be prosecuted if not by federal law, then by the state of TN.

Completely off topic, but I noticed the ATF set up an information booth at the Fort Worth Gun Show this past weekend. They weren’t there when I went last year.
Most people seemed to steer clear of them.
