Fourth Generation Glock
I thought the Rough Textured Frame models were the fourth generation. But it seems there will be fourth generation Glock pistols that will have an interchangeable back strap or adjustable grip. Like the other polymer pistols on the market. A lot of folks say that the Glock’s grip is too big, especially if they have small hands.

Glock has been getting hit in the LE market lately by the M&P, actually. I’m biased because I really do prefer the M&P pistol, but I keep seeing pressers and news releases about departments ditching their Glocks for the S&W M&P pistols.
It is funny to see glock chasing the market though – they used to be the big dog of plastic guns, and now they’re at least a generation behind since their guns don’t have the interchangeable backstraps.

they’ve also spent so long just making one thing. they never really change it much. Add a rail, slim the grip, change the texture. But it’s still the same.

The Glock .45 and 10 mm models have large grips. The others, not so much.

I’m waiting for the 12th generation Glocks to come out before I buy one. It’ll be shaped like a polymer sphere, slightly smaller than a tennis ball. To fire it, you hold it out in the palm of your hand; it jumps up into the air and shoots Mr. BG right between the eyes, before returning to your hand. If you’re at a target range, it senses the target and fires at that instead. Of course, there will still be unexplained instances of it going off unexpectedly and shooting the owner in the leg.

Good to see Glock boldly stepping forward into the mid-1990s.
