(The) “M89-SR is based on the earlier Israeli design, the M36 bullpup sniper rifle, which was developed back in 1980s. The M89-SR is based on the modified American M14 / M1A rifle action”
It seems that the barrel length does not change. So it’s first a question of proper bedding and then getting a proper cheek weld (if I really knew what I was talking about) and it might work.
I have to say that i like the Kel-Tec RFB better. The lines just look cleaner to me. http://www.kel-tec-cnc.com/rfb.htm
Plus the fact you can get it with a 36″ barrel with an OAL of only 40″ is very nice.
Of course, a properly bedded M-14 is a thing of beauty as far as accuracy goes . . . . . . . hmmm, dangit i’m torn!!!

“Looks pretty darn cool to me.”

Unc,
Heh.
Technical merits aside, an AUG or F2000 looks “cool”, at least to my eye, while that thing looks like somebody’s middle-school shop project.
“Cool” is, of course, in the eye of the beholder. 😉

I’m with Tam, and so would J.C. Garand, were he still alive, I suspect.
I’m still debating an optical sight for mine, mainly because it destroys the looks.

The muzzle blast must be something with the muzzle so close to you…
