at first glance, I thought the compensator was one of those YHM Phantom’s with the QD threads for their suppressors. Took another look and it’s one of those giant rubber stopper thingys that’s supposed to reduce barrel vibration.
It’s cute to see guns put together by people who presume that the most important function for accessories is to “look cool”.
I think the best part on that gun is the dot sight mounted on wobbly plastic “railed” handguards. Assuming you could even see the reticle through the carry handle, it wouldn’t matter because it won’t hold zero mounted like that.
Also, the grip-bipod thing is ghey. Not only is it a flimsy and substandard VFG, it’s a flimsy and substandard bipod, too! While most Mako/Tapco accessories can only fail at one thing, it can’t perform two different tasks adequately.
That’s not a compensator, that’s an integrated applecorer. And the dot sight isn’t mounted on the rail, it’s just a storage system for the quick swap, when you really need to get a fast shot off NOW.
Think of it as one of those 1″ thick Swiss army knives. It’s not good for anything, but you have every tool you might ever need on you.
All it needs is a periscope and torpedo tubes. Wow: Bidding has ended for this auction. Reserve Not Met, started at $1,950.00 Buy Now! Price was $2,000.
Reminds me of the old SNL skit with Steve Martin and Murray. What da hell is that?, What da HELL is THAT thing? Ohhhh, I know what that is!, Yeah…… What the HELL is that! I don’t know what dat is! What da HELL is dat thing? I dunno know, but you better stay away from it. Okay, I know what it is … yeah? WHAT DA HELL IS THAT?

It’s not even installed properly.
