Looks like AlGore’s degrees in the physical sciences are in danger of being recalled. Oh wait…he doesn’t have any.
Said it before and will keep on saying it…AlGore could claim the moon was made of green cheese, it would have fuckall to do with what astronomers tell us. He could insist that electricity is green microscopic goblins running along copper wires, and it would have fuckall to do with what your physics teacher teaches you about E&M.
I’m sure it has some implications for how we report on and view in the public policy sphere what science tells us…but beyond that I’m not sure much productive comes from the media reminding us what we should already know–if you want to know about science, talk to scientists and not politicians. If more people on both sides of the issue would do that, we’d all be a lot smarter.

Well, if I see any astronomers walking around, hobnobbing with the elites, and demanding we pass laws that limit my ability to enjoy my life, I’ll make fun of them too. And kick them in the dick.

Somebody better hurry up quick and tell the polar bears. Especially since the Arctic ice has frozen over traditionally melt/freeze zones earlier and earlier each of the last few years. You know, the endangered polar bears whose population has dwindled from less than 5,000 in the ’70s to more than 25,000 today. That reverse dwindle thing is more evidence that something must be done.
And let’s not even talk about the Ross Ice Shelf in the Antarctic which is currently thicker than at any time since we have been keeping records on it.
Of course it is impolite to call a liar a liar, ask any religionist of man caused global warming. Somehow they don’t think it impolite to lie, though. Go figure.
