Guns in restaurants: The Remix
A look at TN gubernatorial candidates on guns:
All seven major candidates express support for Second Amendment rights but differ sharply on guns in bars and other issues.
Three Republicans – Knoxville Mayor Bill Haslam, Senate Speaker Ron Ramsey of Blountville and U.S. Rep. Zach Wamp of Chattanooga – said they support renewing the guns-in-bars law.
The Democrats – Senate Democratic Leader Jim Kyle of Memphis, former House Democratic Leader Kim McMillan of Clarksville and Jackson businessman Mike McWherter – plus Republican Shelby County District Attorney General Bill Gibbons, expressed opposition to guns in places serving alcohol.

Wait, so when Republicans support it, it’s a guns-in-bars bill, but when Democrats oppose it, it’s a “guns in places that serve alcohol” bill?

But which of them will offer to “Punch your fucking face” if you disagree with them?
The people of Tennessee should strive for better! : ]

johnxavier: Ron Ramsey.
Haslam is anti-gun-except-when-it-might-hurt-him.
Wamp is good on guns, but he has never met a spending bill he didn’t like.
Ron Ramsey was a co-sponsor on the original Shall Issue bill back in ’95. Always been one of us. If you’re a single-issue voter, he’s the only choice.
(FEC Disclaimer: I do not now, nor ever have, worked/volunteered for any Ramsey campaign.)
