Plane crashes into building in Austin
That’s about all that’s known.
Via CTD
Update: Guy burned down his house and flew a plane into IRS offices.
Update: suicide note.
Update: A lot of crazy blame in that note. Reason seems to be trying to figure out which particular crazy internet board the guy would have posted on.

No one has blamed a gun owner yet…

we must ban general aviation.

Down with irresponsible wing designers!

Apparently it is time to ban the IRS.

If this were April 15 I could see rushing to get a tax return in, but jeez man you still have plenty of time.

Hey, don’t they allow high capacity mags in texas? Coincidence? I think not.

Odds the pilot will be audited this year even though he is likely deceased?

Not to worry. The guy was an anti-tax communist. ??? IOW, batshit crazy nutjob. He blamed Bush, the catholic church, his wife and accountant for his troubles. His rambling suicide note was posted on line somewhere. But who cares? Apparently no one else was killed. Couple of people hurt. Lame stream media IMMEDIATELY come up and say this “was not a terrorist attack”, minutes after the attack. So I guess this was a “love”crime.

Maybe Kevin Smith can fit in this guys plane. Too soon?

Is it bad that I don’t feel bad about an IRS building being hit?

A lot of his “paranoid” ranting sounds like the “paranoid” ranting I see around here. Seems like a basic history our economy since the mid 80’s combined with things that have personally hurt him. Ironically one of his quotes was foretold his future as the media would see it. It being about those who stand up for principles being called Crackpots. Problem is he did not stand for it he blew himself up in frustration. Me thinks there is a better way.

If it was so obviously paranoid, why did the FBI request the removal of his note from his website? Were they afraid it would strike a chord in too many people? If so, wouldn’t that tend to show he may not have been paranoid?
And really just had enough.

The real problem is the flap thing that goes up!
On a more serious note: After reading his manifesto, he sounds like someone who spent the last 24 years trying to weasel out of paying his taxes… kinda ironic from someone who quotes ‘from each according to his ability…’

“we must ban general aviation.”
Chicago Mayor Rich Daley used “the potential of terrorism” as an excuse to close Meig’s Field and turn it into a park. I’m sure he will be crowing in front of the cameras very soon…

Great comments so far, but I award my internets to “guy” for the tax deadline quote.

The Huffington Post is already pointing the “teabagger” finger at this nut.
He was anti IRS the same way Abbey Hoffman was. He was pissed that the bailout money didn’t go to him.
