Ok, just one more
Now:
President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid “massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters” and to support the still-fragile economic recovery.

Of course police, teachers and firefighters are in danger due to $$$. It makes a lot more sense to cut the most important and legit areas of gov’t operation rather than doing silly things like making cuts in the state cosmetology licensing system or something similar.
I mean shoot, my plan if I lose my job is to immediately quit paying the mortage so I can keep the HBO and Showtime turned on.

50 billion here.. 50 billion there, and soon we will be talking about REAL money!

Here, let me fix it;
President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers (who apparently can’t be trusted to represent their constituents themselves) Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 billion in emergency aid to bail out state and local government worker’s unions who supported the Obama campaign. Obama says the money is needed to avoid “massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters” and strike yet another blow to the already fragile economy while giving the finger to the American taxpayer.
There you go. Much more understandable now.
