Tactical Pants
CCW Breakaways. I actually did a video interview of these guys at NRA convention. But haven’t gotten around to editing it yet. It’s a neat concept in that you can carry a full size gun and spare mags in pockets. And the pockets breakaway on the draw.
Here’s how they work.

What is the obession with pocket carry? Geez, don’t these people ever drive or sit down? Don’t these people read about the injuries caused by pocket carry.
I know it is hip and cool to carry dangerously, but it’s silly to pander to a market when the result is less than optimal. It’s as if the gun store clerks have taken over!
What I don’t understand is why they don’t make breakaway pants for ankle rigs? Velco closed and the rip away during the drawstroke. Hmmm, maybe I can start my own line?

Good idea – but probably priced beyond the practical reach of many in the shooting/CCW community. Or in different terms, do I want a weeks worth of CCW pants – or two of Michael’s holsters?
The holsters win. But on the other hand if I were still attending nearly a board meeting a day, meeting with legislators, etc., they would be worthwhile.

Not an obsession. Just very practical in situations where you can’t carry a gun.

Definitely awesome for discreet carry. The pants don’t look “tactical” at all from the outside–more like dress pants.

I was afraid from the description it was like this:

Persons of excessive girth need not apply.

Shootin’ Buddy —
If ankle guns are your thing, just wear bell-bottoms. {chuckle}
Maybe a butterfly collar on your polyester shirt unbuttoned half way to the navel, and a big wide white belt that matches your low boots. {snicker}

No way I would pocket carry without a holster.

From a fashion perspective, pleats are not the thing anymore.
Which makes even “normal” pocket carry tougher nowadays.
But a cool concept. Presuming the pocket is only used for the gun and the trigger guard area of the internal holster shape is somewhat reinforced I don’t know that “there’s no holster” is much of a complaint. At least no more than carrying in a nylon pocket holster is.

Not gonna happen. I can’t see carrying my Glock (no external safety) without a holster.
And, as stated above, folks with my waistline couldn’t wear ’em anyway.

I just got a pair of them, and I’m here to tell you, “these pants are the real deal!”
I wore them to work and not a soul knew. I wear my pants with a Taurus 24/7 9mm, and no one knows. These pants are truly a revolution.
