The last bit on the Goober race
There apparently is a democrat running in this race. The general consensus from Tennessee Democrats: This crap sandwich is delicious. With a hint of take your castor oil from the local democrat shills.
As for me, I don’t care for any of them. Haslam is a phony conservative. He’s on the Corker express good ol’ boy network and his pandering came a bit too late to be believable. A moderate. I want to like Wamp or Ramsey but I have a feeling that our state would quickly devolve into passing into law every crazy right wet dream. Our current crop of legislators tried that with all the showboating. A scary thought. And, frankly, I rather like having Ron Ramsey as Lt. Governor and Speaker of the Senate.
This is also a crap sandwich. I’m guessing Haslam will win.
Update: Oh, yeah, the above is not an endorsement and rather a lack of.
But if I were voting based entirely on the gun issue, I’d vote Ramsey.

There’s something to be said for Gub’mint gridlock and forces that compete against and counteract each other so nothing happens. I wish we had that here but the Pretendicans are trough-feeders worse than the RINOS in DC.

Ronnie Barrett endorsed Wamp. I’ll probably vote for him, he’s a hometown boy.

What’s a crazy right wet dream?
The way you put it, there must be a lot of them. Name a few, please.

I will not lean my opinion on anyone in this forum, and ‘tanks, to Mister Uncle, for the forum. We’re typing on his dime. I don’t recall, any, of these candidates, stumping anywhere in my county. If they have, please, correct me.(Yes, my the county, or our.) I do, however, have a vote. And, yes, I will use it.

I agree that Ron Ramsey as Lt. Governor and Speaker of the Senate would be better / less bad than having him as Governor and some unknown in the Lt. Governor spot, but that leaves us a choice of Haslam or Wamp.
Broken leg or The Clap?? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

You’re do’in it all wrong Uncle.
Don’t vote until election day, August 5th. Check the polls on August 3rd. Vote for whoever is ahead in the Republican Primary that doesn’t have the last name Haslam.
You did all you could. Have a strong drink, and say a prayer. If everyone does this, it will all work out.
