121. It said “Very Conservative”, but I believe the website to be rather biased (it is the “Center for American Progress” after all). I am actually a Libertarian, made slightly conservative by a Catholic upbringing. They tripped me up with that immigration question. Being in Commiefornia has made me associate the word “Immigration” with “those illegal immigrants who hang around hardware stores”.
This seems to me to be a pretty one dimensional quiz. Things like small government are more a Libertarian vs. Authoritarian thing than a Left vs. Right thing. Also was surprised at the lack of any second-amendment related questions.
Wow 124. Looking at the chart I thought I must be some kind of ultra concervitive. Now I see those of you who didn’t even break 100 and realize I’m a liberal!
48/400 Extremely Conservative, 209 average where did they do the polling on Ivy league campus’. Guess that makes me a “Right Wing Extremist”. Lets see by the numbers, Christian: check, Gun Owner: check, Limited Constitutional Government: check, Belief in the pursuit of life , liberty and happiness: check, Please God help me to not be such an evil person from now on. Oops, reference to God, when will I stop being so evil.
95, The questions were leading and like Tina said, “The questions are too broad and start with false premises.”
I got here from a Progressive thread I read for entertainment that said with a link to this thread “not according to your nazi buddies at sayuncle.” You people sound normal to me. If you don’t mind I may come back!
knoxblab.com is some good urban progressive reading.
273/400, I guess being a secularist who thinks that both government and religion should stay out of my affairs is bad for conservative image. That and my Christian education demanding to not letting people starve to death is bad too. Looks to me like they took one of the standard left/right vs. libertarian/authoritarian tests and tried to project it on a single axis.
67. I wasn’t so thrilled then I saw this. I guess some of my views on war and nation building upped my score. It is possible to be a small government conservative. Wanted a 0 out of 100.

Also, forgot to add.

A lot of stupid, leading Questions. 106/400 but with reservations and the aforementioned complaint. Meh.
September 10th, 2010 at 7:52 pm
99/100. They probably think conservatives think the gov should regulate sex or torture folks.
September 10th, 2010 at 8:04 pm
87/400
Some of the questions are very slanted toward an intended answer.

104/400
September 10th, 2010 at 10:15 pm
I got 104/400. Not much of a Pwog, I reckon.

121. No Progressive cooties.
September 11th, 2010 at 5:29 am
I scored a 55/400, and only because I, too, saw what they wanted me to agree with but didn’t. There is NOTHING progressive about “progressives.”

231/400 oh god I’ve been infected someone kill me now

90/400 Ultra Conservative and damn proud of it!
September 11th, 2010 at 11:18 pm
84/400 and I was considered “VERY CONSERVATIVE” and no they’ve never heard of someone like libertarians(and the small l was intentional).

The “question” is how much do you agree?
September 12th, 2010 at 10:13 am
@Ash: “I guess this is a write only thread.”
Nope. You farted at the dinner table twice, and everyone else is too polite to mention it.
September 12th, 2010 at 1:29 pm
83. The questions were poorly worded and designed to make people more “progressive,” whatever that means.
September 12th, 2010 at 1:31 pm
Btw, according to their demographics, I should be one of them – post-graduate degree, northeast, not a Baptist.
September 12th, 2010 at 5:03 pm
I scored 335. How’s about them apples?

so, knoxblab hasn’t changed?
September 12th, 2010 at 7:25 pm
84/400. That a poll on a “progressive” (what does that even mean?) website would still show a group average of 209.5/400 is encouraging.
September 12th, 2010 at 7:29 pm
“so, knoxblab hasn’t changed?”
Not a bit. Neither has Andy Axel, metulj, and the rest of the crew.
September 12th, 2010 at 7:37 pm
“so, knoxblab hasn’t changed?”
No, but it is still a good education in understanding progressive reasoning and how we ended up with Obama.
Chill nine, the name has been changed to protect the innocent.

95/400 – Bad, stupid, and misleading questions, mainly.

125/400 “Very Conservative”
