Bump firing revolver
Double taps with the S&W. Shot a AE this weekend and I don’t imagine a double tap would be that pleasant. Also, the angle of the gun when that second round went off is cause for concern.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.

Yup. Fairly common with the 500s, unless you have a Todd Jarrett-like kung fu grip and just the right hand size.
It happens to some folks every time they shoot it, and others can’t get it to happen even when they try.
Talk to Shannon or Bob about it next time you’re at CCA; they have plenty of stories.

Too much gun for her hands. The double action revolver can get off a very quick second shot but it should be controlled. You use the squeeze to bring the gun back on target.

What’s more interesting is why it happens. From what I understand the recoil is compressing the web of your hard enough for the double action trigger to reset to the forward position while you’re still pulling the trigger for the first shot. That’s a lotta recoil.

What I want to know is where that second round went. Looked close to straight up…I’d have been taking cover.
OK not really, as I would be like everybody else and wondering WTF had just happened…

I downloaded this with youtube-dl (youtube video downloader for Linux) and played it at 0.03 speed with vlc. I couldn’t believe what I saw…she nearly shot the second round straight into the air.

“looks like a good way to shoot your face off too.”
I heard somebody say that if you have a sear failure in a 1911 and she goes full-auto “The third round goes up your nose”
That IS what happened to the kid with the micro-uzi here…
