Stupid Party Unstupids Self
Looks like they are sending money to O’Donnell. Good.

well, its either that or WE send her the money and then THEY are out in the cold, which is where they are about to be in Nov.ANYWAY:) and shortly there after……………..INDICTMENTS!
September 15th, 2010 at 12:45 pm
Aaahhh!
Nothing to unstupid.
The “report” that NRSC would not be supporting O’Donnell was Democrat disinformation and counterintel.
Why is every anti-Republican story repeated by the 8th grade girls in blogland? Even anti-Obama stories get “purported” and “alleged”.
September 15th, 2010 at 12:47 pm
yup, those evil bloggers getting their evil news from evil foxnews! damn them.
Except the timeline doesn’t jive.
September 15th, 2010 at 1:02 pm
I sent her some. The party gets nothing from me, even if this was a false flag op.
September 15th, 2010 at 1:33 pm
They tripped over their tied-shoelaces and did a faceplant before they could un-stupid themselves.
The Ruling Class wants money from the Serfs but the Serfs want to give it to their own Challenger, not some poncy Prince-Duckling who’s good at the Annual Charades Day Parade.

“Except the timeline doesn’t jive.”
How’s that now?
1. Election results trickle in.
2. Democrat sleeper cell activates and calls contact at FOX News to say that Republicans will not support her.
3. Castle cries like the little East Coast Eloi girl that he is and says he will take ball and go home.
4. FOX News breathlessly announced that NRSC will not support O’Donnell.
5. Gum-chewing 8th grade girls in blogland repeat false flag misinformation from mom’s basement.
September 15th, 2010 at 2:15 pm
The layers of oversight in blogland must have missed the fact that nothing they reported was correct.
How usual.
September 15th, 2010 at 2:17 pm
and you have proof? i’ve not seen fox retract the story.
September 15th, 2010 at 2:21 pm
And those crazy bloggers in their mom’s basement are at it again.

I believe the NRSC and NRCC will send money. I also believe it won’t help much. Coons has $1M in his war chest. O’Donnell reportedly has $20k. They can’t give her enough to make up the difference.

Well, Jeff, maybe not – it looks like she’s getting some support from elsewhere:

She’s almost to 500k just today Jeff. NRSC pissing in the eye of every tea partier was apparently enough to make her cup runeth over. I heard Rush plugged her on the show today too. Steel couldn’t fall over himself fast enough to make sure that the national party wasn’t shot with the same self-inflicted wound the NRSC got.

There’s no way for Republicans to unstupid themselves.
You can’t fix stupid — we need to throw it out instead.
September 15th, 2010 at 5:23 pm
The conspiracist in me has to wonder, did O’Connell’s people expect a money bomb to result from being disavowed by the national Republicans? And if so, who knew what and when?
September 15th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Not just Fox News, but also the Wall Street Journal Washington Wire:
http://blogs.wsj.com/washwire/2010/09/14/nrsc-no-plans-to-fund-odonnell/
And Jonathan Karl of ABC News, reporting “Republican leaders told me they will not spend a dime on it”:
http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/video/primaries-produce-tea-party-victories-11641722
And then there’s Rove’s ad hominem tantrum on Hannity and further reporting from American Spectator:
http://spectator.org/blog/2010/09/14/rove-attack-nrsc-refusal-will
I could produce more, but the point is made.
It’s hard to see how anyone could credibly ridicule bloggers for picking up on this. That Say Uncle posted on it seems legitimate and reasonable, since the facts and the timeline do bear him out.
A credible interpretation was somebody at the NRSC soon figured out the establishment just shot itself in the foot and went into full retraction and damage control mode. And it ain’t like $42 K is going to break them.

She has raised over $750,000 in less than 24 hours.
Nice.
